Zealandia Te Māra a Tāne started with a simple word... Imagine.

Just 25 years on, Zealandia is a sanctuary expanding into a city of increasing birdlife.

But the work isn't done yet.

We're in the early stages of planning a replacement of a small section of our predator exclusion fence, but we need your help. We will use this pilot project to design a new, even better prototype, and will develop the complex biosecurity solutions needed to protect the wildlife within. Our fence was internationally groundbreaking. After 25 years of protecting native species, it needs attention to last another generation.
