Showcase your photography in a special Zealandia art exhibition

Showcase your photography on the walls of Zealandia’s stairwell art gallery - Te Māra Toi! 

Our upcoming exhibition is all about displaying visitor photography. We are calling for photograph submissions of wildlife and scenery at Zealandia - it's open to everyone. If chosen, your photo will be printed, framed and hung in our busy art gallery, seen by thousands of Zealandia visitors.

We’ll also provide the option to sell copies of your photo to Zealandia visitors and social media followers.  

Only 10 photos will be selected, so send in your best snaps (as many as you like, unlimited submissions per person). Submissions close 11 May, please make sure you read the Ts&Cs below the submission form before submitting your photographs.

Terms and Conditions:
By submitting your photos, you agree to these terms and conditions.  

Photos must have been taken at Zealandia Te Māra a Tāne. 

Photo submissions will be open from 4th May – 11th May 2022, after which 10 finalists will be selected from all eligible submissions by 12pm on 13th May. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.  

To be eligible, photos must be submitted in print ready format (high resolution .jpeg of .tif, minimum 300dpi). If selected, photos will be printed with a matte finish on A3 300gsm card stock, in the original orientation of the photo, by Prestige Print for display in a “Through the Eyes of Our Visitors” Exhibition Te Māra Toi (Stairwell Gallery). The exhibition will run from 1st June – 31st July 2022.  

Zealandia reserves the right to use all submitted photos for the purpose of marketing this photo exhibition. Where photos are used, photographer credit will always be cited. We will not edit your photos, except for the purpose of resizing for print. Zealandia may ask you for permission to use your photos for marketing purposes outside of this campaign. This will be on the condition that photographer credit is cited in all instances.  

If selected, Zealandia will also sell copies of your image on your behalf in the Zealandia Store and online at shop.visitzealandia.com on an order to print basis during the exhibition period. Images will be sold at a price agreed upon prior to the exhibition start date. Images will be printed at the selected size and shipped directly to the customer at the end of the exhibition period.  

At the end of the exhibition period, you will be sent a sales summary and request to invoice. Standard invoicing terms apply. A 35% commission rate (exclusive of gst) will be deducted from final payments to cover printing and admin costs. You may choose to donate any proceeds to Zealandia instead of invoicing, in which case a donations receipt will be provided.
