Maintenance underway: what's closed?

The toilets in the valley are closed due to a leak in the 600m long pipe that runs back toward the Visitor Centre. We are working with plumbing experts to fix the issue as soon as possible. Keep an eye on this pinned post on our Facebook page for updates.

After the recent high wind events over the last few weeks, our teams are carrying out some vegetation clean-up work in the valley and taking the opportunity to tidy up areas of the sanctuary like the Wetland Lawn. This work is to ensure the sanctuary is safe for all visitors.

Safety barriers are always set up to ensure we maintain a safe area to move around any potential risks or around the work being carried out. The safety of our visitors, staff, and volunteers is of the utmost importance—please make sure to read and follow the directions of safety signage when exploring the valley, leave barriers in place, and please don’t proceed past them.
